In March 2013, as a thank you gift for being such gracious hosts, the MRPA Conference & Trade Show gave the City of Lansing Parks & Recreation the gift of live trees. The Green Gift program was born, with the idea of giving back to our host communities each year, in lieu of giving a gift bag or other item to conference delegates.

Take a glimpse at these wonderful trees in July 2013!  The trees were planted outside the Gier Community Center, where they will be enjoyed for years to come - in addition to providing better air quality for all!
