Communities/Agencies may request to send additional teams for entry into all tournaments. Teams are entered using a lottery system; if additional teams are needed to fill brackets. Agencies are required to send a roster for each team by the tournament registration deadline. The only acceptable roster form is the MRPA roster, which is provided in advance of each tournament.

EACH TEAM IS REQUIRED TO PAY $25 CASH PER GAME FOR OFFICIALS.
Championship Game officials’ fees will be covered by MRPA. Please emphasize this responsibility to your team managers.
Please make sure that your teams are aware of all MRPA Adult Basketball Rules. Remind them that I.D.’s WILL BE CHECKED BEFORE EVERY GAME. Every player must present a pictured driver’s license or a State of Michigan pictured I.D. card, with birth date, and sign the scoresheet before every game if they wish to play. Any player unable to provide positive identification will not be allowed to participate - NO EXCEPTIONS!
The National Federation of State High School Association’s Rule Book will be our source for rules. We will go strictly by high school rules with just one exception: The length of half time intermission shall be five minutes. Refer to the enclosed MRPA Adult Basketball Rules for additional details.
Men’s, Women’s, and Coed Volleyball Tournaments
Coed and Women’s Volleyball Tournaments will have the Recreation Division again. To qualify, a team must have all players at least 40 years of age by April 1 of the current year OR must have finished under .500 in previous year’s State Tournament Pool Play in Class C.
2013-15 U.S.A.V.B. Rules will be used with modifications. Rules can be found on www.usavolleyball.org. Click on the “Education” tab, then click on rules. We WILL be using the Libero player rule with these highlights:
