Recreation Brownbag Lunch Webinars

The Recreation Brownbag Lunch Webinar Series is a partnership between the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Michigan Recreation and Park Association. Webinars are designed to improve collaboration and cooperation among recreation providers and share ideas on improving Michigan's outdoor recreation experiences.

Potential topics include:

  •  Changing local recreation plan requirements
  • Overview of the 2013-2018 Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP)
  • Trails planning

  • Webinars will be held around lunchtime on the last Tuesday of the month. Local and regional park managers and directors, city, township or county managers, local elected officials, and community economic development directors are encouraged to participate! 

    Suggestions for potential webinar topics are welcome!
