Certified Park and Recreation Professional


To meet the highest standards for the delivery of parks and recreation programs and services in Michigan, the Michigan Recreation and Park Association facilitates the Certified Park and Recreation (CPRP) certification program. By voluntarily submitting their credentials for review, participating CPRP designates national standards for competency in the recreation, park resources, and leisure service professions, and guarantee their employers that they have attained acceptable levels of continuing education and experience. Certified Park and Recreation Professionals (CPRP's), raise the quality of service for our industry nationwide, and promote public recognition of our profession. They deliver endless benefits to a deserving public.
