In April 2012, the Michigan Recreation and Park Association initiated a Salary Survey as a service to our members. The survey was designed to provide a timely salary and wage resource for parks and recreation practitioners and agencies.

To make the findings user-friendly, the 2012 Salary Survey has been divided into several formats:

• Three reports that provide salary data on a variety of parks and recreation positions, sorted by agency name, by population of service area, and by total department budget. 
• A report that details Director/Lead Administrator salary details only. 
• A reference sheet that contains data regarding the department budget, general fund allocation and dedicated millage dollars and rates of each participating agency.
