Why You Should Golf!
The MRPA Scholarship Committee distributes more than $10,000 in scholarship and internship awards each spring to students enrolled in a Parks and Recreation curriculum in Michigan. Funds are raised via donors, sponsors, scholarship socials at the MRPA Annual Conference, and the Annual Golf Outing. All funds raised go towards awards for students. In addition, many students volunteer at the outing, making it a great opportunity to network with young professionals and share experiences in the field, while spending a day on the course with park and recreation peers!
