MI Big Green Gym is expanding! MI Big Green Gym is a partnership with Michigan DNR, MRPA and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. It is simply a FREE marketing campaign that promotes parks and recreation facilities as places to be active. Tool kits with news releases, social media posts, fitness tips and other marketing materials are provided to participating communities.
MI Big Green Gym is expanding in 2015 to include a partnership with Michigan libraries and Michigan’s 120 historic and cultural destinations. Patrons of those facilities can check out a “pass” to a local or state park. A whole new audience will be exposed to your parks and recreation facilities!
To learn more about the program, MRPA and the DNR are hosting a webinar on Thursday, December 18th at 11 a.m. The program will be explained and the benefits to your agency discussed. Details on how your community can get involved will be described.
