MRPA PROfessional Quarterly Magazine
Earns 2010 PACE Pinnacle Award
On Wednesday, April 28, the Central Michigan Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America presented MRPA with a Pinnacle Award during the 2010 PACE Awards. The Michigan Recreation and Park Association was recognized for "outstanding public relations and achievement" in the Magazine Tactic category, in relation to the Association's signature publication, the PROfessional Quarterly.
The PACE Awards are mid-Michigan's highest honor of public relations activities and are awarded annually to practitioners who, in the judgment of their (out-of-state) peers, have successfully addressed a contemporary issue with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness. Non-profit organizations, corporations and public and private agencies in Clinton, Eaton, Genesee, Gratiot, Ingham, Jackson, Livingston and Shiawassee counties can submit entries. Submissions are judged based on quality of research, planning, execution and evaluation.
MRPA would like to thank all members, legislators and others who have shared their stories within the publication's pages. In addition, the Association would like to thank our partner Millbrook Printing Company, who has assisted MRPA in selling advertising and crafting a beautiful product from cover to cover.
