Annual Conference

Now that the 2010 MRPA Conference has passed, plans have begun for the 2011 MRPA Annual Conference and Trade Show at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa in Acme, Michigan, February 8-11, 2011. Vendors can send in their Early Bird Registration form through April 2, 2010 to guarantee the 2010 Trade Show booth rate for 2011.

 

Certification

The Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) designation is granted to individuals employed in the recreation, park resources and leisure services profession who meet high standards of performance. In order to achieve CPRP status, applicants must meet minimum qualifications and successfully complete the national examination.

Scholarship

It is the purpose of the Michigan Recreation and Parks Scholarship Committee to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to qualified and deserving students who are pursuing an education for a career in the recreation and parks profession.
